Tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam

Tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam Multan ("Pillar of the World") or as called "Sheikh Rukn-ud-Din Abul Fateh", located in Hussain Agahi Road near Fort Kohna, Punjab, Pakistan. It was built in the period of (1320-1324), under the supervision of Ghias-ud-Din Tughlak which is considered as a model structure in their own way.

As history said, Shah Rukn e Alam was a great Sufi Saint, son of the Pir Sadar-al-din Arif, and the grandson of successor Shaikh Hazrat Baha-ud-Din Zakariya Multani which has its own value, and worth in early times as well as today.

However, Shah Rukn-e-Alam Mausoleum structure is in diameter shape, and entire design is shown in red brick, bounded with beams of shisham wood which is old wood but looks very unique and elegant in their own style. In fact, the exterior is completely ornamented with blue glazed tiles which is look stunning, when as compare with our shrines it’s design has look different from other shrines. Thus, in daily basis many devotees, tourist, visitors, families, youngsters come for prayers, and some viewers have visit here to examine its unique kind of structure building, as well as, wanted to captured all the scenario during the mausoleum in their cameras in a very professional way.
