Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai
Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Bhit Shah was a great Sindhi, Scholar, Mystic, Saint, and Sufi poet, located in Matiari, Sindh, Pakistan. He was born in (1689-1752) at Hala Haveli's village located near Hyderabad, Pakistan.
Similarly, he is belonging to great Sufi family and he was the son of great poet, and philosopher Syed Habibullah and Grandson of Syed Abdul Quddus Shah. Thus, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai is one of the most important South Asian poets of the 18th century. He wrote poems in Sindhi, like everyone known the famous "Shah jo Risalo", which was popular in all over the world. That's why, its copies were translated in numerous languages for the poetry lovers like Urdu, English, Punjabi, Seraiki, German, French and more other languages around the globe.
However, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Shrine is situated in bhit shah was built after his death. His Urs is celebrated annually, all the devotees come from different regions to attend his Urs festival which attracts 500,000 visitors in a day.
