Quetta Archaeological Museum

Quetta Archaeological Museum is also known as Quetta Museum, located in Mizan Chowk, Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is just 8 Km far from Quetta Zarghun Road and Spinny Road.

Quetta Museum of Balochistan has display galleries like Mohenjo-Daro in Sindh province, Pottery pieces from sites in Balochistan and Stone Age implements from the Zhob, Quetta and Kalat Valleys. There's also a stock of military, including a sword with bloodstains still visible used in 1919 to kill a British commander.

Quetta Museum has more other galleries within the complex exhibit Qurans (one copy written in the hand of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb), manuscripts and calligraphy. The museum also houses a collection of prehistoric pottery, coins, swords, manuscripts and firearms.
