Iqbal Park, Lahore


Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore is the Symbol of Struggle for Pakistan, located in Iqbal Park, next to Badshahi Masjid (Mosque), Punjab, Pakistan. Minar-e-Pakistan was the first official declaration for the creation of Pakistan. It was built in 23, March 1940, which is the combination of Mughal and modern architecture named Nasreddin Murat Khan.

Minar E Pakistan Lahore has surrounded by the beautiful Modern Parks, Mountains and Artificial Lake, Food courts, which attracts the families, Tourist and visitors can visit day and night.

Minar e Pakistan Lahore constructed very well manner the tower rises above a platform shaped like a Five Pointed Star, terrace is three feet from ground level, the platform's height is about Six Feet, and the Star Platform is about 12 Feet high. It is surrounded by two Crescent-Shaped Pools, four feet deep and lined with green and red marble. On the third platform are laid Chiseled Stones, while the fourth and final platform is of highly polished marble, symbolizing the ultimate success of the Freedom Movement. The dome of stainless steel inlaid with fine glass pieces up to the dome there are four stages spread over 162 stairs. The best and encompassing panoramic view of Lahore and the citadel is obtained by using the elevator which takes you all the way up to the top of the Tower.

Its construction completed in 1875, under the supervision of Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV, he made the Noor Mahal Palace for his beloved wife Noor. she was only there for one night, as she happened to see the adjoining graveyard from her balcony and refused to spend another night there, so it remained unused during his reign.
