Mahabat Khan Masjid
Mahabat Khan Masjid (Mosque) Peshawar or "Mohabbat Khan Mosque", is one of the beautiful historical masjid in Peshawar, located in Andar Sheher Bazar, Mohallah Baqir Shah, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was built in 1630, by the governor of Peshawar under the supervision of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, and then renovated in 1898.
Similarly, its interior decor looks fascinating and antique. All around the masjid can be seen a beautiful fall ceiling, fancy fanoos, and white marble facade covered all the mosque look unique and stylish in their own way.
Mohabbat Khan Masjid/Mosque has open courtyard with an ablution pond in the middle, and can find a single row of rooms around the sides. Thus, the prayer hall occupies the west side flanked by two tall minarets, and the interior of the prayer hall is sheltered beneath three low fluted domes is lavishly and colorfully painted with floral and geometric designs look stunning, and enhance the beauty more whenever the visitors has come to perform namaz.
