Gilgit Airport is a small domestic Airport, located in Airport Road, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. An area of approximately 72,496 square km, approximately, and it elevation is about to 1,457 m.

Similarly, Gilgit Airport has construction New Terminal Building & Re-Location of Car Parking which were inaugurated by Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 6th December 2013 in a very professional way.

At Gilgit, three great mountains near Alam Bridge has been found which are Karakorum, Himalaya and Hindukhash. As well as, the great famous peaks of the world are in Gilgit Baltistan such as Rakaposhi, K-2, Nanga-Parbat, and number of other mountain and peaks are explored by researcher.
